Flinty and clean, with notes of Asian pear and Meyer lemon blossom. Juicy fruit notes of tangerine and vanilla on the palate. Perfect with shrimp, fresh scallops, or tender flatfish like sole or sanddabs. Versatile enough to be your everyday Chardonnay.

LAS PERSONAS Y EL LUGAR

Fossil Point Wines

On the Central Coast of California, our vines are never far from the influence of the sea. Sunny afternoons give way to cool marine breezes, and the growing season is directly shaped by the seasonal flow of the currents and surface temperature of the nearby Pacific Ocean. Our vines take root in coarse sand, calcareous shale, and fossilized oyster beds - all remnants of the ancient sea floor.

Fossil Point pays tribute to this bond between sea and vine. Located less than five miles west of the winery, Fossil Point is a rugged headland with sweeping views of the Central California coastline. Standing atop Fossil Point, you will enjoy the same ocean breezes that are on their way to our vineyards, where they guide our fruit to perfect ripeness.

Edna Valley

The single coolest sub-AVA in the new SLO Coast, with a long growing season and year-round fog. This cool climate maritime allows fruit to slowly ripen while preserving its natural acidity.
