2022 CaliPaso Santa Lucia Highlands Reserve Chardonnay
The approachable, bright and flavorful CaliPaso 2022 Reserve Chardonnay comes from Santa Lucia Highlands. Aromas of vanilla and tropical fruit open on the wine, carrying through to the smooth, layered palate. Notes of green apple, mandarin and peach blend seamlessly, caramel and graham cracker. Beautifully rich and round in the mouth, this appealing Chardonnay finishes with crisp, palate-refreshing lemon zest characteristics.

THE PEOPLE & THE PLACE
CaliPaso Winery
Calipaso Winery is located in the Eastside of Paso Robles, California and was acquired by the Wu Family in 2012. The property is managed by youngest son Jeff, where it had previously been a quaint inn and production facility but the family was keen on making it one of the premier destinations on the Central Coast. Twelve years later they can definitely say they have done just that. Luxurious wines and luxurious accommodations is exactly what you will find when you step past the gates and enter Calipaso. The estate boasts some of the most elegant and sophisticated grown Cabernet Sauvignon, but also produces wines from a select group of vineyards on the Central Coast. Jeff has remained consistent in his quest for excellence but also has a strong desire to be accessible so wines remain affordable.
Santa Lucia Highlands
This cooler region sits East of the Santa Lucia Mountain range where coastal breezes of fog and wind from Monterey Bay provide moderate temperatures. A slightly longer growing season provides slow and even ripening for each harvest.
