We had been using the noble variety as a blending grape since 2000 and decided to shine the spotlight on the variety itself in our first vintage 100% Malbec in 2008. Properties such as Stagecoach, Shifflett, and the Waters Ranch have been sourced to produce this fragrant, full-bodied and complex offering. 225 cases hand-crafted.

Napa Valley
Named California’s first American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 1981, Napa Valley has an abundance of diverse soils and microclimates and is part of or contains 18 AVAs. While internationally acclaimed for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, fine Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc is also grown here.
