This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot a is a fruity, finessed expression of the Hossfeld Estate. A rich, velvety purple in the glass, this mountain blend delivers the intoxicating flowery perfume of Malbec wedded with the sumptuous decadence of Cabernet Sauvignon. Finely woven tannins, the pertness of pomegranate and the structure of mountain fruit, this compelling wine shows the synergy of hillside varietals.

Hossfeld Vineyards is a hidden gem in the Eastern Hills of Napa Valley. At the base of Soda Canyon, we are nestled between the Stag's Leap and Atlas Peak AVAs. The soil is completely volcanic, with major rock outcroppings of rhyolite and andesite breaching up through the slopes.

Named California’s first American Viticultural Area (AVA) in 1981, Napa Valley has an abundance of diverse soils and microclimates and is part of or contains 18 AVAs. While internationally acclaimed for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, fine Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc is also grown here.
